Please join us at the Seventh Annual West Asheville Garden Stroll (WAGS), Saturday September 12, 2015. This year’s theme “Cycles,” will be highlighted during a family-friendly kickoff ceremony starting at 10:30am at the West Asheville Library, 942 Haywood Road, Asheville. The kickoff site will feature information about local organizations and displays showcasing the projects of WAGS 2015 Seed Money Grant recipients. Printed Stroll Guides and maps will be available from 11 AM to 3:30 PM at the kickoff site.

The kickoff ceremony will start at 10:30 am, and the gardens will be open from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, rain or shine.

This year’s Stroll includes 18 gardens located along a walkable and bicycle-friendly route in neighborhoods north of Haywood Road and east of the library. Highlights include heirloom vegetables, berries, fruit, and colorful flowers; unique landscaping and stonework; a large community garden; whimsical garden art; chickens; and friendly folks eager to share their gardening experience.
